Summer Class Schedule

In the summer, we run camps during the daytime and a selection of afternoon and evening classes. The summer session runs from July 12th through August 20th. Pricing for the six-week summer session is the same as our regular monthly rate.

Beginning Classes

Beginning classes are a one-month introduction to the sport for students who have never fenced before, or who have limited experience at another club and need a refresher on terminology and techniques. We start with on guard stance and footwork, safety rules, basic bladework, and move on to simple tactics and sparring. By the end of the month, you’ll be fencing other students on the electric scoring apparatus.

All of our beginning classes teach foil fencing. After one month of beginning class, you can move on to the Continuing class.

During the summer, we offer an evening beginning class for adults. Kids and juniors should check out our Summer Camp schedule.
