We offer weekly half-day camps for kids and teenagers during the summer. We teach the basics — footwork, bladework and rules — in a safe, positive environment. Fencers new and returning will get plenty of opportunities to use their new skills in sparring situations.
We teach foil fencing in all of our camps. We have Beginning/Continuing camps for students with little or no previous experience, and Intermediate camps for foil fencers with a year or more of experience.

Our summer camps divide campers by age and level of fencing experience:
Beginning/Continuing camps: No previous fencing experience required. Also appropriate for students who have had a week or two of beginning camp or a month or two of after-school classes.
Intermediate camps: For students who have fenced before and have a year or more of fencing instruction. Focus is on sparring and learning about different competition formats. Instructor approval is required before signing up for these camps.
Competitive camp: For competitive foil and epee fencers of all ages, who have at least six months of competition experience. This all-day intensive camp will include technique, tactics, psychology, and more. Instructor approval is required before signing up for this camp.

Full Day Camp Options
Chess + Fencing Camps
We have partnered with Chess4Life in Bellevue to offer campers a full day camp option during the weeks of July 17, July 24, July 31, and August 7. Fence for half the day and complete your camp days with chess at Chess4Life! Chess4Life instructors make the game come to life through exciting lessons on strategy, tactics, and many other topics that open the world of chess to students. Using curriculum created by National Master Elliott Neff and the Chess4Life development team, coaching staff cultivate students’ excitement for learning this game which increases skills such as reasoning, pattern recognition, math calculation, and the overall ability to learn. For ages 8-12.
Art + Fencing Camps
We have joined with Young Rembrandts to offer full day Art/Fencing camps this summer. Spend half the day fencing and half the day drawing Monsters & Creeps, Medieval Castle, Pirates, Enchanted Academy, or Anime Style! All fencing and art instruction is at Rain City Fencing Center. Art camps are available in combination with any of our Kids camps during the weeks of July 17, July 24, July 31, and August 7. For ages 8-11. For more details on the specific art programs and registration, visit the Young Rembrandts website directly.
The fee for a half-day camp is $229. Full-day camps are $369.
Enrollments must be paid in full within one week after registering to secure a place in the camp. You can pay online with a credit card, you may call us with a credit card number, or send a check or credit card number by mail.
