When you start fencing national competitions, you’ll need your name on your uniform. It’s best to get this professionally done, so that it looks good and doesn’t interfere with the conductivity of the lamé. You can contact them to see if they will be at the tournament you are fencing in. If they are, find out how early you need to bring them your uniform. Sometimes you can even get it done the day of your event. If they won’t be at your tournament, you can make arrangements to mail it to them in Portland.
